1. Moscow was a capital. Communists poured a lot of resources there to make it look good, to parade their "success" to both western people and their own citizens. That's what any authoritarian regimes always do. 2. The train in the video is obviously modern, built long after USSR collapsed. And I think these particular stations are also new ones, though indeed Moscow subway was already very big before the end of USSR, 13 lines with over 140 stations in total if I remember correctly. Still, this is what trains looked like back then, not so fancy.

First, moron, the USSR did fail. Second, the metro is the way it is because Stalin used forced labors (prisoners, political enemies, whoever) who died by the thousands to create it. He stole the best supplies to build it, and scared the shit out of the workers who operate it to ensure it stayed clean. When you can lose your life for a missed dirt spot, you tend to be meticulous.

If the USSR succeeded, why are you in Canada and not the USSR?

Well the USSR didn’t build any of these metro stations in this video, the Russian Federation did. That’s not to say that they didn’t build amazing Metro stations, but they didn’t build these ones.

Moscow isn't Russia, try going to certain neighborhoods in Moscow! In the third world, there are lines to go to Europe or the USA, not Russia. Try asking shops in the third world if they prefer dollars, euros, or rubles?

Do you really expect anybody to believe any of this was built in the 80s?

It's advanced *because* the USSR failed.

Literally so people like you think things are better than they are. Same reason China throws fancy lighting everywhere. You retarded influencers take pictures of specific public spaces and don't have a brain to understand the difference.

Um... because in spite of the advanced metro the country still went bankrupt, the USSR ceased to be a country, the satellite nations (like Poland, East Germany, etc.) became independent nations again, and Russia has become an oligarchy.

I'm glad that they spent all that money in Moscow. I'm sure that the residents of Zrenjanin are enjoying their flammable water. Or the Arkhangelsk region where Moscow wants to bury their trash in. Thank goodness Moscow is so "advance".
