PAF Heroes: Remembering Sacrifice, Honouring Legacy Today, we remember Flying Officer Marium Mukhtiar's sacrifice and devotion on what would have been her 32nd birthday. Marium became the first Pakistani female Air Force pilot to embrace martyrdom in the line of duty. She was posthumously honoured with Tamgha-e-Basalat by the Government of Pakistan on 23rd March 2016.
