This father had to go in the street to stop cars from passing a STOPPED school bus with extended stop signs so his daughter could get off the bus! Sad that people have to do this to get people to stop. Sometimes the law can vary by states but it is pretty standard. Seems more and more people aren’t paying attention or simply do not know the law when it comes to stopping for school buses. A few seconds or maybe a minute is worth it to keep our children safe. Do you know the law in your state when it comes to stopping for school buses at a stop with their stop signs extended ?

Thoughts and prayers have done nothing, it’s time to act. Gun violence is the leading cause of death for kids in this country. It doesn’t have to be this way. There are real actions that we all can take to prevent tragedies. We need to stop normalizing gun violence.

This Is The Government Our Founding Fathers Warned Us About “Toronto County man is dead after officers say he refused to give up his gun to police. Yesterday, the Minnesota Senate passed the most comprehensive gun violence prevention package in state history. I was proud to work alongside Zaynab Mohamed to get it done. It included an assault weapons sales ban and high capacity magazine limits. I carried provisions to ban binary triggers, ban untraceable 3D-printed firearms, and strengthen and expand awareness of Minnesota’s red flag law. Now it goes to the House. Let's get it done!
