@SunWeatherMan How high do we need to be?

@SunWeatherMan Depends on if a pole shift is headed our way or not -- and if it is, how intense it will be. Depends where you live. Depends on a lot of things. FYI: Global Disaster Stories, Maps & Resources

@SunWeatherMan This is amazing!! Thank you for putting this together!!!

@SunWeatherMan My property in the Ozarks is only 670 feet above sea level. I need an ark or something.

Maybe you need "an ark or something". Here you go... Roger Cunningham: Survival Crafts & Structures "If you positioned yourself with the right craft in the right ocean, you could end up with a survival formula. But you're going to have to be under the surface. The the surface keelboat that that was the ark in the Bible -- you know, those fanciful pictures of a keel boat, they've got the keel running down on on the stern and across the bottom and then up the bow and then all the animals are on the boat -- that wouldn't last one hour. That wouldn't last one hour in the in this scenario. A keel boat has too many hogging and rolling and sheer moments to survive." "A fixed platform is a roll of the dice because it depends on what the ocean displaces. My thought is that you should probably displace with the ocean because it's the hit that you take from the ocean that is the danger element. If you displace with the ocean then you accelerate with about the acceleration of an airliner sitting in an airplane seat. So it's not an acceleration to you experientially. And then you decelerate at that same rate as well. So it's somewhat of a gentler ride. And as long as that ocean that you're in, that particular segment of ocean that you're in doesn't happen to hit a mountain, then you're then you're going to be okay. But you're going to have to have a craft that is under the surface of the water. Not necessarily 400 feet down or a thousand feet down because you don't want to be too too near the bottom. But you do need to be out of what is called the surface effects of the ocean, the sea state of the ocean . . . And these waves would be 4 to 800 feet. So you'd need to be a little bit under the surface in what would be rightly termed a submarine. That's probably the most survivable craft. In fact, that's exactly what Utnapishtim survived in, in the epic of Gilgamesh. It was a very smart design. It was circular, radial, had ballast in the bottom, was four levels, and was equal on all sides. It was what I call a ballast bucket submarine. In other words, it kept the bottom of its craft down at all." "The second best place to survive is going to be somewhere above 2500 feet. Probably preferably more like 3,500 feet and under the ground . . . and place around you a fortification of stones that are well fitted together so that water cannot get in between the stones and force them apart. That's critical. So if you have a technology that allows you to take a large andesite or limestone stone and then meld it into the other stones around it so that the seam between them is paper thin or non-existent, that's the way to build a fortification wall at a high altitude. Inside that type of chamber -- which exists at Sacsayhuamán in Peru, that's near the Incan capital, the Incan Empire [and] Gunung Padang in Indonesia -- that's a construction of that nature. Those would be the second choice survival points. It's curious is that we see those two survival approaches in our mythology and our monuments. We have the tale of Utnapishtim developing that submarine and then we have the actual monuments themselves which are built to fortify whoever built them against a rather severe cataclysm."

@SunWeatherMan Still not sure what to do. Or if I want to try and survive. I am in the quake flood die zone now.

If a pole shift scenario becomes likely in our lifetime, we are all going to be faced with some very tough questions. Here's hoping you receive the answers you need so you and yours can pass through whatever changes come your way as gracefully as possible. And, in the meantime, you can live each day to the fullest.

@SunWeatherMan Thank you Always well thought out answers from you.

@SunWeatherMan There's 12.. you can only see tem
