I personally have absolutely no doubt that Bondi is a liar, is lying about Epstein and is covering up for Trump in the files. She is likely relying on a pardon, but in order to get one she needs to do what Trump wants.

Including saying Maxwell should die in prison. That's what makes this weird. If Maxwell deserves to spend the rest of her life behind bars... then who was she trafficking girls to? It's the one question nobody in Washington seems eager to answer. No pardon for Maxwell. Fine. But what about the people she helped? What about the clients? What about the names?
