Short answer, yes! The US is already hedging its bet by getting the chips made in other places. Once that's done, the US will just let the CCP have it. I doubt. China is likely to scared to do it it would start a regional war that they would not win South Korea and Japan would more then likely get involved (they have said they would) if nothing else and the US dependency on Taiwan chips is also a bigger incentive for US support

Ukraine is extremely corrupt compared to Taiwan. Taiwan is a better advantage due to its strong allies besides the U.S.
