Water is not effective in fighting electrical fires. CO2 fire extinguishers are required for this.

Sand + water OR Detergent + water will stop oxygen flow to the fire there by quenching it. Petrol is lighter than water so it keeps burning cos the Petrol stays above the water

This fire looks like an electrical fire or class B fire. For class B fire use foam extinguisher or water with detergent mixture. You can also use a DCP extinguisher. Alternatively, you can use sand. If it is an electrical fire, then use CO2 extinguisher or sand.

Petrol fire can't be put out with water. In petroleum refineries, storage depots, retail outlets etc. petroleum fires are dealt with using suitable fire extinguisher eg.Dry Chemical Powder (DCP). For safety of all, it is best to allow 2W tank petrol to get burnt off steadily.

This is seems like in Indonesia, this cub type motorcycle is a bit older than mine because the velg is not yet for tubeless. I suspect there is an electrical fire connected to leaking gasoline or oil tube. As long as the battery doesn't get cut off the fire will keep appearing

Water can, they just need to turn off the fuel switch or dump water into the fuel tank.

The water contains Oxygen which the fire 🔥 even needs to fuel it but if you add a washing powder to the water it’ll then do the magic
