#SEONGHWA about walking the runway for SONGZIO today 🩶 ⭐️: Anyway, what I really wanted to say today is that, honestly, walking the runway has always felt like a dream to me. And now, counting this time I’ve done it three times in total, now twice with SONGZIO, which is a brand I really lov, so it made this an even more meaningful time for me. It was such a meaningful experience. While getting ready backstage, all the models were just incredibly cool.. really, so cool. Seeing them gave me a lot of courage and watching how the staff worked was very inspiring as well. In a way it kind of reminded me of ATEEZ in our earlier days, everyone felt close like a family and it was really nice to see. Yes, I learned a lot and felt a lot through this experience. Last time I was only focused on the runway itself, but this time I think I was able to see things more broadly. I think I saw the whole thing with a broader perspective, I learned and felt things. It was truly so much fun. And in those moments I really felt like I was the main character, I really had fun. Originally, during rehearsal, I was second to last. But the CEO started at the very end, and after I finished, I was waiting like this and I was supposed to go in around the final turn. Then suddenly, he changed the positions. So, unexpectedly, I ended up even doing the finale, and it felt so thrilling. At the same time though I worried whether I might somehow be kind of a burden among such amazing models so that (thought) made me study and practice even more. Even though I personally feel there are still many ways I’m lacking, I also found myself thinking that maybe I was able to be part of the story these people were writing through fashion. And that made me feel really proud. #SONGZIOFW25 #성화 #SONGZIO

"In 'Zodiac' (2007), I wanted the audience to feel like they went through the ringer with these guys,(...) in retrospect you look at it & say maybe audiences who are looking for entertainment on a Friday night don’t want that toll taken on them." --- David Fincher Full Excerpt: "Interviewer: It’s so rare to walk out of a movie and to feel like I know more about a subject than I did walking into it. Watching Zodiac is like the experience of reading a really absorbing non-fiction book, and I know that part of it for you was about honoring the people who were the victims of the Zodiac, but you also have so many details, so many facts, you take it to such a level where there’s so much information… why was that important to you? Fincher: I don’t respect movies that treat me like I don’t have the attention span or mental faculty to follow… it’s one thing to talk about Dave Toschi’s fall from grace in an oblique and generic way. I can answer that question in a couple of different ways. I wanted the movie to take its toll on the audience, I wanted the audience to feel like they went through it, like they went through the ringer with these guys, and I didn’t know how to do that because these guys didn’t run across rooftops and fall off fire escapes. In their quest to bring the Zodiac to justice they followed the trail of breadcrumbs as far as it would take them, and they kept pushing and kept pushing when there were crackpots coming out of the woodwork. I felt like I didn’t want to make one of those movies where you do montage/montage/montage and you get the idea that they went to the mat with this, that it took its toll – I wanted the audience to feel that. You know, in retrospect you look at it and say maybe audiences who are looking for entertainment on a Friday night don’t want that toll taken on them. I felt like anything less than that would be doing the story and people involved a disservice. You could do it as something compressed, where you get the gist of it, and we would have shots of Jake [Gyllenhaal] half asleep and you would have those obligatory shots where the boss says, ‘You look like sh!t.’ And in the end I still don’t feel like you get enough of what happens with his family, we don’t get enough with his wife and kids, but it was all we could do to get it in at under two hours and forty minutes. I feel like we took about as much time as you can really expect an audience to sit still for and we tried to make them feel what it was like to be invested in this circuitous run down the rabbit hole." (David Fincher's interview with Devin Farachi, 2008)

Jay, the artist that you are 🥹 🐈‍⬛: Well, I'm the type of person who tends to overthink things. It's not just as simple as "oh, there's no water". My perspective has shifted a bit. Of course, being a good singer, dancer, and being good-looking are all very important aspects of being an artist...that's the core of the job. But I've come to feel that, even before being a singer, it's a profession that affects a lot of people, not just bringing joy, but also a wide range of emotions. Especially in places like fan sign events, where I get to have sincere conversations with fans, I realized early after debut that what we give isn't just joy or quick dopamine hits. That's really only a small part of it. Over time, I started to feel more deeply about how my actions, the way I think, and the influence I have might affect others. It made me reflect a lot. The idea of what's "right"...the definition of that is something no one can set in stone. Everyone has their own standard of what's right. But even so, I want to do my best to be someone who lives by what I believe is right and try to pass that on to others as much as I can. So I often find myself hitting a wall, constantly questioning what "right" even is. Even if I think one way, someone else might think differently. That makes me more cautious about the things I say. Because of that, I've had more and more fans come to me for advice, sharing their worries, even asking for guidance about their future when we talk in person. And every time that happens, I really feel the weight of my words.
