Tell us the plan on A REAL VIRGINIA ISSUE. Due to the self-ID policies you clearly support in Virginia, a female student at Stone Bridge High School was sodomized in a bathroom. The perpetrator was released on bail and subsequently sent to Broad Run High School, where he abducted and sexually assaulted another girl. The father of the 1st victim was arrested for speaking out at a school board meeting. Furthermore, a Tier III convicted sex offender, who, according to court records, "suffers from a severe form of the sexual paraphilia of exhibitionism" and has "compulsive sexual behaviors," was permitted to enter multiple girls' locker rooms at schools, a water park for disabled children, recreation centers, and gyms over a seven-month period, despite his prohibition from being around schools or parks for life. Numerous complaints about his inappropriate behavior toward women and girls were received, yet it appears the only concern was for his comfort and inclusion (emails below) in those spaces instead of the safety of the women and girls in those spaces, especially the girls' swim team, whose schedule was found on his phone along with child pornography. It was only when a staff member finally googled his name, due to the number of complaints, they realized he was prohibited from being on school grounds. To be clear, he had been permitted to enter multiple times in at different facilities, over multiple jurisdictions, for a seven month period, simply because he said, "I'm a woman." It also appears that after this was brought to light, the main concern was for the impact on the LGBTQ community, not the women and children subjected to his behavior. It is also my understanding that police initially refused to intervene due to the self-ID policy, and Fairfax is not prosecuting Cox despite his offender status.
