Women choose courtship, men pick wives. Women are conservative with who they date, men are conservative with who they marry. Women are picky when it comes to sex, men are picky when it comes to commitment. To be a wife you have to be selected. We need Fathers to teach this.

Straight up conversation with my ex wife AFTER she was pregnant with our first child. We had an Armenian Orthodox wedding so the ceremony was in Armenian. I had read the translation of the vows before the ceremony, but I was cleaning up and came across one of the programs. Me: hey honey. Did you read the vows before the ceremony? Her: no. Why? Me: well, it is what you vowed to. Her: that's just stuff you have to say if you want a church wedding. The next 16 years didn't get any better from there.
