BARONESS BENEFITS AKA KEMI BADENOCH £144k a year, but taxpayers cover her rent, energy, water bills, internet everything!

How about curbing the MP’s benefits. They earn over £90,000 and still want the taxpayer to fund meals and offices.

@KemiBadenoch you are funny 🤣 ! We have 1.78m unemployed and 700,000 jobs. Maths not your strong suit? And as for your ‘benefits card scheme’ - how much will that cost to implement? Based on @Conservatives last stint in office you did as about as well as @UKLabour today.

Why do the Tories always target the least well off? It's like they replaced their fox hunting with hunting down the poor 🙄

Kemi made it very clear that they are NOT talking about people who physically or mentally cannot work. These are people who could work but for some reason choose not to. Most employers are very flexible these days and are happy to adapt tasks and hours to peoples' needs.

Maybe we should take a longer deeper look into the scrounging MP’s that claim for everything get booze and meals at cheap prices whilst ‘at work’ all coming out of us taxpayers money

Did you ask Badenoch about her enormous tax paid expenses . Badenoch & Whately both have a lot to say about benefits , but they both milk the country with their expenses claims

"There's been an explosion in welfare" shrieks Ms Reid Government spending on welfare as a percentage of GDP is lower today than it was 10 years ago. When will you be clarifying this for viewers ? Facts matter.

@edballs @susannareid100 @ranvir01 @kategarraway Says Tory Charlatans who tanked economy, decimated every public service, wasted 10bn on useless PPE & caused 25k excess deaths! They’ve never been held to account, are on £90k plus & expenses & subsidised dining against £98 pw.

In that case, if you can work, you should be given a job that pays a proper living wage. Then you won’t need UC that is currently subsidising cheap labour costs and allowing companies to make more profit.

Stupid idea & very costly too. We need UBI not sound bytes on how to divide the people. There's only 700,000 jobs available PT/FT can they confirm in detail? Nearly 2 million unemployed that we know of as not all out of work claim, the maths don't match the rhetoric.

Denying people cash is problematic. Pint of milk down the corner shop with a minimum spend for non-cash transactions? Transactions that accept cash only? I like the principle, but it feels a bit nanny state controlling where people spend.
