Playing pro basketball has always been a dream of mine ever since I was a little kid. Being able to travel the world and get paid to play the past 5 years has truly been a remarkable experience. To get the opportunity to live in 7 countries, be immersed in different cultures, meet new people, and play basketball at a high level are memories I will always cherish. Since being back in the States in May, I have had a lot of time to reflect on what the next step is for me and my family. I got my Real Estate License in the summer with the intentions of just doing it in the off seasons, and then get into it full time when I was done playing. But when our daughter Rinnie was born in September, my mindset began to change. Having a family and being a father has always been a dream of mine too. And now that she is here, I look at life a lot differently. It has been amazing to be around family and friends and raise our daughter in our own home right here in our hometown in Illinois. On top of that, I have really been enjoying being a Real Estate Agent and adjusting to the new challenges that come along with it. I still love basketball, but I always knew there would come a time when I’d have to hang it up, and this feels like it for me. Being a father and a husband is the most important thing to me and that will always come first. Knowing that this is the best decision for us really gives me peace in walking away from a game that has been so good to me over my life. Thank you to basketball for giving me the life I had dreamed about since a child. Now, on to the next chapter of my life 👶🏼🏠🌾🇺🇸

My first book publishes today. It has nothing to do with hardcore finance or bitcoin, but everything to do with self-improvement, constant learning, and living the life you want. The book, which is titled How To Live An Extraordinary Life, is a compilation of 65 letters to my children on various life lessons I have picked up over the years. A message for my TikTok family: In case we lose Tiktok I want to thank you for creating a space that provided me the freedom to be myself. Before this, I was modeling professionally full time and although that was incredible and elevated me from my very humble beginnings in life, I didn’t have the freedom to be myself. How I looked, what I wore and what weight/size I had to maintain was not up to me. Because of you, I was able to prioritize social media, which gave me the freedom to be creative and do what I wanted without compromising a paycheck. It’s afforded me the opportunity to create content that I had creative freedom over. It gave me opportunities that led to collaborations with high profile brands like ESPN, BMW, Coach, Netflix, Mastercard, LG and the list goes on and on. It’s blessed me with being on billboards with my own name on my videos. As a model, you don’t get credited for your work. I was on TV, magazines, print ads and billboards more times than I can count but for the first time in my life, my name was with my image because I wasn’t just a model anymore, I was me. It gave me an identity of my own, not who they dressed me up as that day. When my mom passed away I was completely lost, and that’s when I found you. I had about 800 followers at the time and less than 2 years later there’s 1.2 Million of you on Tiktok alone. I can’t thank you enough for supporting me thru this journey and I look forward to what the future holds. I know this feels like the end of the world for some, but take it from someone who’s already experienced the worst thing that can happen to them.. we will be ok no matter what the outcome is. 1994 is out.... Actually kind of can't believe I'm writing that 😭! Four years ago when I was working on a building site, I was having panic attacks daily. I had no idea what I was doing with my life. I was absolutely miserable and everything filled me with such dread that I could sometimes barely function... Then a certain song came along and completely flipped my life on it’s head 🏴‍☠️😭 now in 2024 I have just released an album full of songs that I wrote that at the time of writing has nearly 100 million streams already. Not bad!!! I literally could not have done this without 𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐇𝐍𝐗 for a start, these boys have been absolutely incredible, an inspiration to me and an absolute fountain of experience. Thank you to my managers for sticking with me, helping me every step of the way, seeing the vision and trusting the process. Thank you to everyone at the label for giving me the platform and also trusting me and the process of this album. And last but not least, thank you to my beautiful wife for putting up with me and this wild ride that I’ve dragged us on called life. This is going to be a LONG post so please bare with me Today is my 20th birthday 🎉! I can’t Thank God enough for blessing me in the ways he has in the last six months. This is the first and probably not last birthday that I won’t really be celebrating. I am working today and have to meal prep. I went to the gym this morning which was some much needed therapy. So this will be my celebration. I am making this post celebrating all the important friends in my life who have changed it for the best. Mike I have known you for just over 2 years now and you have been around for some of my best moments and my worst moments. From helping me build out my first AR to watching you work your ASS off to build 2 amazing companies that won’t be going anywhere anytime soon with someone like you as a leader for them. Thank you for being there for me and encouraging me last year when I would send you dry fire videos. You don’t know it but I was going through one of the hardest seasons of my life and the encouragement you gave me ment the world and helped me. You were one of the first people to really motivate me to lose weight. Thank you brother Havoc 2-1 Thank you for all the encouragement and advice you have given me. When I posted that range video and you RT it commented and followed me I didn’t sleep AT ALL that night. It was the happiest I had been in a while to see someone who I looked up to recognize me and the stuff I was doing. In my career, KAT has been the only player that has always been on the team. It’s going to be very odd to cover a Wolves team that he’s not a part of. We’ll dive into the trade plenty — still wrapping my head around it. But for now, want to say I’m grateful for the respect he always treated me with — not a given in this industry, especially as independent media. Karl and I became some version of friends over the years. And for me, that will always be something that will stick with me as the years go on. ✌️KAT

Sometimes, it’s good to recenter yourself. When the evil of the world is heavy on your mind and heart, give it to Him. Leave it all there. Recently I discovered that there is a group of people on a certain platform who are reading through my testimony from when I was a struggling teen. I wrote it years ago, and they are mocking it as they go—making fun of my words, judging me for my past, mocking my past decisions, my decision to choose life for my first born, my path toward God, and the pain and suffering I shared with my readers in order to reach those who may not know God but are searching. Only evil people do this. And I count it as an honor and a blessing to be mocked for His name’s sake. I pray their hearts will be softened. My heart was changed. Theirs can be too. Maybe one person will enter their livestream and listen and, instead of focusing on their evil intentions, will actually listen to what I wrote and want to know more. God works in mysterious ways. All I do know is that they will have to answer to God one day. And I do not envy them for that. My joy comes from God, and it is my honor to be persecuted in a world where it is really easy to despair. They are not accomplishing what they think they are accomplishing.
