$76.66 per hour. So you're saying a living wage is ridiculous? You're saying salon nails are not art? Did you not look for the price or ask a what it was? Nope, just got what your little heart desired because it's all about what you feel you deserve, not about being prudent and saving money for a rainy day or retirement.

Oh boy….I get pedicures (under $75 bucks) because good foot care is important for health and I love pretty toes, but I never get my fingernails done bc I can easily care for them at home for free. How on earth do people rationalize $200-$300 for a manicure? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Personally, as a 'rich boomer who has blocked everyone else's path to home ownership' I have been debating for 2 weeks over the $22.97 vs the $29.97 Walmart bath mat that I actually need. So cry me a river about your nails.

like i know right, everyone always talking about gas prices and stuff but like no one even cares what its like to need $200 nails.. so unfair.

I still can't wrap my head around why someone would want nails that interfere with every aspect of your life or why you would spend $227 on any nails.

My first "new car" payment in 1997...was $220/month. I didn't get nails done b/c I probably couldn't afford them just starting out and we were taught that wants and needs were two different things. I took coffee and a breakfast bar to work and still enjoyed my coffee! These younger generations are cooked. Inflation or not, they don't know how to go without ANYTHING that they don't want. My own two daughters included...who I love very much. But they are in for a rude awakening when they get out into the real world.

One of my teenage daughters loves to have long nails with designs on them. We spent about $100 setting her up with her own home nail studio kit as a Christmas gift and she does them every week herself. Monthly supplies run about $15. They look professionally done at this point after she’s had a few months of practice and she’s only 14. This woman’s entitlement is off the charts.

I pay $40 because I don't get designs and special crap put all over them. You want customized nails; you're going to pay for the customization.

I do nails! Her nails are absolutely $227. The customers do not know how much our product cost how much time I’m putting into ten fingers the length the amount of design I have to do the things I have to glue on your nails to make sure it doesn’t come off.

She was happy to pay $160 odd for them but the extra is breaking her? 🤦🏼‍♀️ I have no idea why ppl want such hideous nails or how they manage to function normally with them. I'm actually astounded that anyone pays that much for them. She should be embarrassed she's so stupid.
