Now about this young lady. Perhaps there is some incriminating information about you in your social media posts. Perhaps you couldn’t answer the interview questions very well. Did you practice? Perhaps you showed up dressed inappropriately. Perhaps your degrees were in something unrelated to the job.And perhaps you should take that Customer Service job and prove your worth and work your way up.

I think people should invest in credentials that will bring them the most return in their careers. Some will make it without a degree, but most won’t.

In college, you learn things. If you go to classes for six hours a day five days a week for four years, you learn things. Depending on what you study, you might learn chemistry or physics or math or how to think and solve problems or music or painting or history or how to write or how to speak. Go to any universities website and look at the list of courses available. Then there are the things you can do when you’re not in class. Hang out with friends learn what they know. Have deep discussions sitting across legged on the floor of the shower. Tip a beer or two. Date. Go to football games. Oh the things you can learn.

Go raise a family

It all depends upon the degree. The physicsx3, calculus, chemistryx3, statistics, biology, genetics, physiology and anatomy classes paid off very nicely. A worthless degree is in fact worthless. Anyone can earn one. The ones that are hard to receive are very marketable.
