@HDouglas83 Harry. Bama has 4 Heisman winners with Chips. They don't care...at all. Jayden is weak.

@HDouglas83 I don’t know, the guy finished 9-3 as a starter his last year at LSU, sat out his teams Bowl game. Not exactly a “legend” move to close out your time there. It’s a f/n number. The fact he even made the move shows it was never about LSU, it was all about JD.

@HDouglas83 imma stand on jerseys in college shouldn't be retired, You can throw the name on a wall, and have them honored but for a historic school, theres only BUT so many numbers lol

@HDouglas83 This is why sports debate shows are basically unwatchable anymore. Such a dumb story. Just go back to reporting the news and showing highlights.

@HDouglas83 This is really stupid there’s plenty of heisman trophy winners who’s jersey numbers get worn every year a good example is Charles Woodson the only one to have a problem with it is Jayden Daniel’s

Yeah he won the heisman but never touched a Natty and couldnt even win an SEC championship. Burrow did all of that. Ironically Burrows SEC championship was against Georgia the same team Daniels played for his SEC championship and got rocked. 1 heisman with nothing else does not justify a number retirement. LSU shouldn't be forced to retire a number because one of the former players got their feelings hurt. Number retirements are done as an honorary thing. Will all this being said if @LSUfootball @LSU @Lane_Kiffin do decide to retire a jersey they should retire Burrows just to stir the pot.

@HDouglas83 Why give it out? Let’s go to the Mountain West and talk to Brian Kelly who made all these supposed promises.

@HDouglas83 If Jayden had won a national championship this argument would sound better. Still dumb as shit, but better.

@HDouglas83 He was 9-3 and sat out the ReliaQuest Bowl, which we won without him. LSU meant more to him than he did to the program

@HDouglas83 His jersey isn’t retired and he didn’t win a championship so why shouldn’t another player wear #5??

@HDouglas83 How is he so important to the organization? He didn’t win a natty Missed the playoffs Only played one year If he wanted to be a team legend he should’ve stayed at asu

@HDouglas83 How bout we talk about what LSU did and continues to do for Jayden Daniels? My bet would be he doesn't win the Hiesman or 1st round pick w/o LSU, coaches and his Teammates

@HDouglas83 If JD5 was a white dude they’d be ALL over him, “entitled, white privileged “. Tell me I’m wrong.

@HDouglas83 What he should’ve done is directly contact the University and talk to them before making a spectacle out of the whole thing. This could’ve been handled a lot better! Now he’s done nothing but cause problems that could’ve been avoided! No one forgot what he did!

@HDouglas83 The equipment manager is nowhere near this type of decision…🤷♂️ Unless they’re secretly living a double-life as a head coach or booster

@HDouglas83 He was already honored for winning the Heisman. He was given the Trophy he doesn’t need his number retired. He also refused to represent LSU in a Bowl Game. He wants his jersey retired and he didn’t play every game he could for the School…

@HDouglas83 Bro the number was promised to DJ in recruitment. The number is not retired. He won the heisman, great a popularity contest. Move on

@HDouglas83 Let's talk to Brian Kelly about why DJ Pickett was promised 5. That was JD5 coach if he is to be mad at anyone it should be BK

@HDouglas83 lol….LSU doesn’t need you as much as you needed/ need LSU. Without the LSU brand you never win the HEISMAN TROPHY. What an ego….

@HDouglas83 Do some research before you speak on a situation you obviously know zero about.

@HDouglas83 Bert Jones’ No. 7 jersey will be retired this season. He joins Billy Cannon’s No. 20, Jerry Stovall’s No. 21, Tommy Casanova’s No. 37 + Charles Alexander’s No. 4 as the lone retired jerseys. Cannon’s No. 20 jersey remains the lone number not worn by current Tigers. Carry on…

@HDouglas83 He signed a release when he signed up to play there. Him and his mom should just STFU

@HDouglas83 Lets get this straight.....Jayden Daniel's led LSU to nothing. He's no Joe Burrow and #5 isn't his number. He needs to check mommy dearest because if she thinks she's getting over on LSU, she's mistaken and this kids 15 minutes will be over soon enough.

@HDouglas83 So y should we give out 7 a lot of greats have worn that number

@HDouglas83 Ignant

@HDouglas83 Ok well number 5 belongs to no one. The university gave him a stage to perform on and the audience he needed to help him win a heisman. Now he is telling them what they can and cannot do? Give me a break! He never even won a championship there, the audacity, the entitlement

@HDouglas83 is that number RETIRED????🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ BUT this is what NIL did.. created a whole nother level of ENTITLEMENT

@HDouglas83 You can not claim disrespect for a guy who simply quit his team. Daniels opted out of his final game. When that happened he opted out of LSU, he plays that game maybe none of this happens.

@HDouglas83 Lest we forget….

@HDouglas83 Dude played 2 seasons and lost 7 games in the SEC… 9-3 in a Heisman year that he sat out the bowl game… what does he really mean to that team??

@HDouglas83 This is the most only uninformed take I’ve ever heard. There’s a reason his number was given out. And there’s countless former Heisman winners, whose numbers are being worn today.

@HDouglas83 @HDouglas83 please do your research before speaking about something you don’t know about. Not all Heisman trophy winners have their numbers retired. Many have had multiple people wearing their number, reference Tim Tebow. And LSU also has a policy on numbers.

@HDouglas83 bro fire your whole team and start over if you are a young pro making news for anything except winning your entire team agents lawyers have failed you
