I remember watching more than half of this show from the first season and then dropping it completely because it was primarily individual stories with completely unrelated characters being introduced for half the season and going nowhere.

This series is barely an Isekai to my memory, isn’t only one character from a semi-ensemble cast Isekai’d? And apparently from an “earth” where he could cut through tanks with a katana. It’s a good series but it’s like, Isekai in the most shallow sense.

Don’t watch it until the next season comes out. Both seasons are awesome, but nothing related to the story has actually happened. Only watch if you wanna be left off on a massive cliffhanger

This is a battle royale where it just so happens that several characters are from Earth — as far as an isekai goes this has about as much effort and integration as a mid one or two season isekai, but without special privileges.
