Mike, my brother, I knew your music before I ever knew your name. I knew I liked you, but I didn’t know the Lord was gonna use your words on this app like oxygen to a drowning man. For real: I needed that message today like I need air. Thank you. Some days I look around at my life: sick, broke down, stuck in a pit so deep I wake up wanting to quit. I’ll pray, “God, how can I call myself Your child and still be this lost? How am I supposed to help anybody else when I can’t even help myself? What do You want from me when I’ve got nothing left to give?” I’ve been asking Him for the next step and hearing silence… until today, when He used you to break through. Your words were light in real darkness, man. They reminded me that even when I can’t see the road, He’s still carrying me on it. Thank you for being obedient and posting what He put on your heart. You have no idea how perfectly timed it was. You helped pull your brother up off the mat today. I love you, man. Keep speaking truth. The Lord is using you more than you know. Scripture that’s holding me together right now: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:17-18 (NIV) “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV) “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NIV) I’m still standing because He’s still holding.
