“If you think there is a problem, do something about it. Don't just make everyone watch a slightly nebulous drama.” Keir Starmer has announced that Adolescence will be shown in all secondary schools - but should he be creating actual policy instead?

Excuse me @KemiBadenoch , but wasn't it a slightly nebulous drama that prompted YOUR government to finally do something about the Post Office/Horizon scandal...

The abjectly pathetic thing about this is that she openly admits that she has not seen it so therefore she is in no position to make comment

Should Trump and Musk take a wrecking ball to our govt? Senator Warren says they are already doing so.

The Adolescence fictional drama is nothing more than left-wing propaganda, and some very dubious organisations are pushing it. No wonder the government and other lefties love it.

Didn’t Kemi insist on investigating the pupil that referred to themselves as a cat whilst she was a Minister? Despite the entire world knowing it was a wind up 🤣

@lewis_goodall No He should Stop weaponising 2 Tier approach & get to grips with the enormous issues we face and stop prioritising a red herring drama about ‘incels’ in Britain when clearly there are FAR more & mich bigger immediate concerns

He didn't say every school should watch it He was saying it should be available for schools to watch it There hasn't been a directive given to schools that they must show it.

A week earlier Kemi chose PMQs to challenge the PM on a school ban on mobile phones……it’s clearly important if those precious Qs are used for this….what happened in a week. Too busy to watch TV or have sandwiches for lunch.

Kemi is right. Make schools and education more attractive to boys. Recruit more male teachers. Adolescence is fiction.

Part of policy is education and it appears that Adolescence has certainly educated a fair portion of the population that was previously ignorant.
