If you’re reusing substrate (especially coco🥥) for multiple cycles - never leave your pots🪴 wet for long. Mold can develop fast, and your substrate can become unusable. On my farm, fully replacing the coco mix (I run 70% coco / 30% perlite) across 3,000 pots costs around $25,000 💸...

Jeff Bezos just told you exactly how to price AI. Nobody listened. Bezos: “AI is real and it is going to change every industry. In fact it’s a very unusual technology in that regard in that it’s a horizontal enabling layer.” Horizontal enabling layer. Three words that reprice the entire technology sector. The iPhone was a vertical. One product. One new market. Electricity was a horizontal. One substrate that rewired every market on Earth. Wall Street is pricing AI like it is the next iPhone. Bezos is telling you it is the next electrical grid. Right now, thousands of companies are trying to sell AI as a product. A feature. A tool. A subscription tier. Every single one of them will be priced to zero. You do not sell a horizontal layer. You do not compete with it. You build on top of it or you disappear beneath it. For a century, entire industries survived on one thing. Complexity. The friction of navigating law, medicine, logistics, finance. That was the moat. If you could not memorize the maze, you could not compete. A horizontal layer does not navigate the maze. It dissolves the walls. Electricity did not compete with the candle industry. It erased the need for one. The most dangerous part of a horizontal shift is how quiet it is. It moves underneath the economy. The surface looks normal. Revenue still holds. Every day you operate on the old substrate, you accumulate a debt you cannot see and cannot repay. The internet repriced distribution. AI is repricing cognition itself. When intelligence becomes a utility that runs through the walls of every company on Earth, the premium on human expertise does not erode. It evaporates. This is not a disruption. Disruptions replace products. This replaces the ground you are standing on.

Apparently, I saw this video online and I decided to share. What this worker is applying is called bitumen, or what many of us know as bituminous coating. Most people think a wall is a solid, impenetrable block, but in reality, it is more like a sponge. Concrete and blocks have microscopic pores that pull water from the earth through a process we call capillary action. This thick black substance is the shield that stops that water from climbing up into the house. It is not about making the wall look good because this part will be buried under the dirt forever. It is about creating a skin that water cannot breathe through. When do you need to do this? The need for this arises because the soil is a very aggressive environment. Water is not your only enemy.. The ground also contains salts and sulfates that want to eat away at the cement. If this moisture finds its way to the steel bars inside the columns, those bars will start to rust. And when steel rusts, it expands, and that expansion is what cracks the concrete from the inside out. This coating is the only thing standing between your foundation and that kind of slow destruction. Thats is why if you see wet patches at the bottom of your walls inside your house, it usually means someone skipped this step or did it poorly during construction. You can apply this anytime you are building parts of a structure that will stay in contact with the ground. It is common in areas where the water table is high or where the soil stays damp for most of the year. This is a one-shot opportunity. Once you backfill the soil, you can never go back to fix it without a lot of expense and a lot of digging. It is about having the foresight to protect the heart of the building while it is still exposed. Please don’t ignore this if you need to. If you ignore it now to save a bit of money, you will be funding the future decay of your own home. I hope this helps.

When your pain, fear or resentment is consuming you, no one else can pull you out of the dark, because you ARE the dark. Your mindset. Your thoughts. YOU CONTROL where you work & live, who you live with, what you eat & drink, what time you sleep, how you think, how you feel, how you spend your energy & what you do with your spare time. YOU! These things may feel out of your control but they're not. They're all things we can change if we're unhappy but our MINDSET has us convinced we can't, by playing on our fears of the unknown & our own weaknesses. 'What if I can't find other work?' 'What if I don't find anyone else?' 'I don't have time to cook!' 'I don't have time to workout!' 'I have nothing to feel happy about' 'I can't sleep!' Your life will not change, unless YOU do! You need to change your mindset! No one can do it for you. You can CHOOSE to see silver linings OR just the possibility of rain. You can CHOOSE your HARD... - Struggle through a workout vs struggle to look at yourself & how unhealthy you've become - Struggle to learn a new skill vs struggle in a job you hate. Trying to see beyond your unhappiness, 'bad luck' & bad choices is confronting & can feel impossible...BUT it isn't!! It's possible! Not over night but gradually...taking ONE DAY AT A TIME! Be kind to yourself! Changing your mindset & working on overhauling years of negative thought processes is far from easy but in doing so, you'll reclaim your POWER & take back control of your own happiness. Choosing to go out into the sunshine to drink a cuppa (instead of staying cooped up indoors) won't make your problems disappear...BUT it gives you a few seconds of CALM to REFOCUS your thoughts & a dose of Vitamin D & fresh air, while feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin. In making that choice, you reinforce your self-worth: you deserve time for yourself & you deserve to feel good. It's a simple choice that can completely change how you feel for the better, even if just for a moment. In time, your days can become full of those moments & you'll no longer need to look for the light in the dark. You will BE the light! The beacon of your own happiness ❤️🫂 #mindset

6 months ago we were dropping a new app every week No one cared We’d randomly get 10k users on an app But they came for the app, not the person The thing is, I don’t care about making a retentive app for one audience I want to be a retentive person ~ for my audience What if I was the app? Not a single Paul Thomas Anderson movie is the same Different subject matter, different genres, so you’d assume different audiences However the same people that went to see his last film, came to see One Battle After Another So the demographic isn't dependent on the subject matter The demographic is just, Paul Thomas Anderson fans The software industry has long told that you need to work on one thing, for the rest of your life That’s not how art works tho, is it? Can you imagine telling Jay Z “Great job on the blueprint, now iterate on that same album for the next decade” The landscape of tech haas been stifling the growth of creators by not allowing them to explore other interests 6 months ago I said no to this "requirement", despite what everyone told me, and continued to drop what I liked every week The second a trend was happening on Tiktok, I had the app out that week Somehow 6 months later, the world is conforming to this ideology Instead of software creators limited to making apps for one audience and one niche, there’s a new world of ephemerality and expression What if instead of optimizing for users, we optimized for fans Making apps that are expressive of your life, your commentary, your heartbreak Garnering an audience that will follow you through each step of your story Each of those steps being its own app Why shoot for daily active users when you can get daily loving fans When fans use your app, it’s not just about resonating with the story, the app places them IN THEIR OWN story Here’s an example You’re a 20 year old girl who’s at UMiami You scroll through Tiktoks in your dorm room about “mogging”, a trend to outshine your friend in a photo You laugh and share videos seeing celebrities mog each other, but that’s the extent of it Then at Danger Testing we make an app called mog or not, where you and your friend can upload a photo and AI tells you who’s mogging Now you’re at the bar with your sorority sisters, playing all night, whether your winning or losing it’s the time of your life cause something is finally about YOU ENOUGH OF WATCHING MOVIES LET’S MAKE YOU THE MOVIE LET’S MAKE YOU THE STAR AN APPSTAR

It’s about time I tell you the truth… social media is full of fake people doing whatever they can to go viral, look perfect, and build a brand. I built my brand on being the tall girl (with a dumpy). Not many women my height have the proportions I do and I capitalized on that. Except… that’s just it. I don’t have those proportions as a 6’2 woman because I am only 5’2. The reason I only don’t go out much and never socialize with fans is I didn’t want my secret getting out. It’s been hard to maintain this idea of being a tall girl for so many years. I have to stand on boxes in pictures with my friends and family and never be caught in a high angle selfie. I have special extra small furniture to make me appear larger. Even my doors are shorter than standard. The amount of effort I have to go through to appear as a 6’2 tall woman and make it believable is incredibly hard. And so many people have already caught me too! They constantly comment that I’m lying about my height and that I’m actually short. Well. Today they get that moment of victory where they can say they were right. Congrats, trolls and haters… you found me out. I guess the last thing for me to say is the reason behind doing this. Why I poured so much into an identity that didn’t fit me. If you made it this far, then you deserve to know. Why did I pretend to be a 6’2 model with curves that aren’t naturally seen on someone of that stature? Why didn’t I embrace my 5’2 frame and stop pretending nothing ever fit me in clothes and that the top of the fridge really was a difficult reach? There’s only one answer to that. It’s because… it’s April fools, and admit it, you fell for it. I am 6’2, as much as people try to convince me and others I’m not. I’m blessed with some crazy genetics and I love embracing that (most of the time I’m just complaining but you know how it is). Leave a comment about how today is a great day if you read through the whole thing and Happy April Fools! Remember, never believe everything you see on the internet, because everyone is trying to convince you of something. #AprilFoolDay
