Frank D. Smith Jr. Proving 'Ifà' Binarism to Yoruba say a lot about the hype around 'Ifa' & the ignorance that comes with it. Who invented figure '0'? How old is Japanese & Chinese representation of what 'Good & evil' is? Ifa & her practitioners, which one came to 'being' first?

What Is Iyèrè Ifá? Iyèrè Ifá is that sacred chant of Ifá which is a melodious, rhythmic form of vocal invocation used to call down the spiritual energy and presence of Orunmila. It is not merely a song; it is the voice of Ifá carried through melody. In Yoruba tradition, Iyèrè Ifá is performed with a tone, vibration, and cadence that awaken the spiritual essence hidden inside the Odu. Each chant is woven from ancient words, tonal patterns, and divinely inspired rhythms that align the chanter with the realm of Ifá. Unlike spoken Odu Ifá, which focuses on meaning and interpretation, Iyèrè Ifá focuses on sound, frequency, and spiritual vibration. When sung, the voice becomes an instrument through which ase flows, allowing the chanter to invoke guidance, protection, healing, and clarity. Sample: video attached Source: okanbaTV
