Nobody just brings out phone to record police officers for the sake of it. Every time a Nigerian has had a need to record police officers, it is because police officers are doing what they shouldn’t be doing. The IGP should not give them reasons to start shooting at Nigerians who are recording

The incident was triggered after Nicholas Brutcher was ticketed and had his car towed after getting into an altercation with the police. I do not believe for a second that the Nigeria Police Force Nigeria Police Force, under the illegal IGP Kayode Egbetokun, has any intention of withdrawing police officers from VIPs. This latest announcement is nothing more than a Christmas bonanza for the police hierarchy; the VIPs will double or even quadruple the "Christmas hampers" they give to officers in charge, and the cycle of preferential treatment will continue.
