Ike is excited about the Eagles’ first-round pick, Makai Lemon. “I think he’ll be a great addition. He reminds me of Steve Smith Sr., one of the toughest receivers I ever went up against. I think Makai Lemon’s future is bright, and Eagles fans should be excited to have him.”

This guy was a bad pick simply because he has such a bad attitude. He sounds like some ghetto gang-banger doing a Stevie Wonder impression. He has to learn he is now in Philly fans will chew him up and spit him out and eviscerate him with an entitled attitude. He is I’m mature and can’t even speak proper English, his combine interview and his interview after he was drafted sounded like a class in Ebonics. This was a bad selection.

They have to fix running game. If they get that back to 24 they’ll be fine. If it is more like 25 passing game won’t matter.

The Eagles’ selection of Makai Lemon obviously points to AJ Brown’s departure—but I also think it says something about Devonta Smith 👇

Great to see Makai Lemon back playing ball. A reminder of the type of ballplayer he is when healthy and the electric skillset he’ll provide to the Eagles’ passing attack.⤵️

ESP on the Eagles’ selection of WR Makai Lemon: “He’s someone who fits what they want to do. They want a group of interchangeable pieces at receiver, and I don’t think they want to force the ball to one guy. He’ll be good for that.”

Will we see rookie WR Makai Lemon back soon? Preseason? I think this story from Howie Roseman says a lot about both of them and about how this team operates. Up & Adams Philadelphia Eagles

Eliot Shorr-Parks expects the Philadelphia Eagles to trade for a receiver if A. J. Brown is dealt. “I think DeVonta Smith would be WR1, but they’ll add something of substance. I’d be surprised if they used a first-round pick on a receiver. I think they’ll go out and make a trade.”

Marco Rubio declares he’ll be the FIRST person to endorse JD Vance for President in 2028! “JD is a very good friend of mine. If JD runs for president, I think he’d be a PHENOMENAL candidate. I’ll be the first person to sign up and support him! I think JD would do great.” When asked about being VP, Rubio made it crystal clear: “I want to be the Secretary of State and I’ll worry about the future in the future.”

I still can’t believe the production that both The Philly Special and Thomas Mott put together for the 2026 NFL Draft. 🤯 I was just lucky to be a part of it. Here’s our initial reaction to the Eagles selecting Makai Lemon:

USC WR Makai Lemon’s story arc was cinema. He played CB as a true freshman, didn’t transfer but continued to be patient and work. Broke out as a Sophomore and won the Biletnikoff his Junior year. Then goes first round of the NFL draft. Gotta love it. Thanks makai lemon 🫡

Elon Musk's advice to young people: "I would say one thing is to err on the side of optimism, to be optimistic about the future. I think it's better to err on the side of being optimistic and wrong than pessimistic and right, your quality of life will be much better. I would urge people to be excited about the future. I'm excited about the future like I'm confident the future will not be boring. Read a lot of books, try a lot of things. Just enjoy life, but like, working is also part of enjoying life."
