@americanbaron_ AI is "inevitable" because it's being developed as a tool of mass surveillance. In entertainment, we'll quickly reach a point where filming real people will be cheaper than the energy needed for an AI to generate a movie. That whole thing is just a testing ground.

@americanbaron_ Don't forget my personal favorite tidbit of AI - most of the key players in pushing AI (Peter Thiel, Sam Altman, Elon Musk, etc) believe that they are building an AI god and pouring money into it to avoid going to AI hell. Go look up rationalism/effective altruism, it's insane.

@americanbaron_ Basically yea. Since twitch is owned by Amazon, and they also own MGM studios which will also blatantly use ai, they might use twitch training data for that. Or for something more sinister. Even with agreeing to TOS, no twitch streamer agreed to ai-slop training.
