The people who made the wrong decisions that contributed to the deaths of children are trying to blame someone else. City/County officials and those running the camp did not act appropriately. Weather service did its job.

Just stop. You haven’t a clue. It can rain and the whole city will shut down. There’s been a massive drought, now what happens when there’s a drought? The ground hardens, the water doesn’t soak into the ground as it is. Add drought, massive rain and you get a flood. This the second big flood in a month. 35 was under water in several places. I’ll just leave this right here as well: there is no technology in existence that can accurately predict the volume of rain that will occur within a specific timeframe. Furthermore, there is no technology that can predict the rate of rise of a river’s level within a particular local. But go ahead and lie your asses off trying to pin this tragedy on the President of the United States. Only the fools out there will believe you.

So the total rainfall was off. It happens. It's weather. Point is, flood advisories and warnings were issued hours earlier. You suggesting they should have waited to check the amount of rainfall before acting?
