I'll just say it for the streamers out there...

If your out here with a "pay my bills goal". It's time to get a 8-5 and stream in your free time. But I'll say, i see people living WAY above their means saying "I'm broke"... yeah, no shit.

it just changes the whole dynamic. People shouldn't feel obligated to give you $5, that shifts from being a gift to being a charity.

💪 Merica, we're taking it back. 💯 You like Trump, you know it, time to show it. ✅ T's for Trump here:

It's all about the cognitive reframing. "I won't make it" vs "I have the opportunity to really impact my current situation". It does 2 things, gives you control and overtime reduces stress to such a minimal amount it becomes ignorable

I get that, but in my case I was already in that situation before I started streaming so I decided to dedicate myself to the grind to the point where now I can live off streaming without stressing over if I'll pay the bills next month. I'm extremely grateful and I have no idea if that will last for the long run, but at the end of the day it's what I wanted to do so even if it collapses at some point I'll be happy I got to this point 🙏

Agree 100%! Also hate how some try to guilttrip their viewers but put zero effort in apart from going live or just in general guilttripping and complaining about it.

I live every aspect of my life by “I get to” everything is a privilege

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Be blessed that anyone is getting anything in this stream game. It’s shocking and sad to see how many people are relying on financial support on these streaming platforms to just make it with nothing to fall back on when there’s a bad month or more, and that happens in the stream game. It was never meant to be that for the majority of us. It’s an added bonus and that’s how it should be viewed as in my opinion.

I genuinely cannot imagine having a sub goal be "pay my bills!!!"

the wife and i have an agreement that when/if i hit partner we'll see how the first week/month looks pay wise to see if we can dial it back on actual work. IF we dial it back. then take the fact those weeks/months can look different each time. i never want to use what i make

It reminds me of being younger working in the service industry. Knowing that random chance on a daily basis was responsible for whether or not I could pay bills was endlessly stressful. Couldn't imagine doing it now and I always feel bad when I see anyone living it live.
