I’ll make this as simple as possible. Deegan has a pattern that someone with eyes can clearly see. If Deegan feels his dominance is being threatened (in this case by Anstie), he takes care of it. In my opinion, this was one of the most blatant takedowns I’ve ever seen.

The more deegan takedowns I see, the more I kind of don’t mind it and dismiss it. The awesome part about this sport is what goes around comes around. The more he does it, the higher chance someone will send him flying over a tough block. max will be better for it next time round

His dominance wasn’t in jeopardy lol. He was passing him regardless, he turned down faster than usual because he thought Max was going to cut under him and go inside. He stayed in his presser that he didn’t mean for there to be any contact.

Sorry dude, but this wasn't blatant. I like both Max and Haiden, so I've got no dog in the fight, but just look at Haiden's front wheel trajectory compared to Max's front wheel position leading up to the moment of contact. If it was blatant, there would be way less offset.

If all were passing like Deegan, there wouldn’t be a race for us to watch.

Kitchen is just a few bad races away from being completely out of title contention. If that happens he is going to spend all his time at the races doing what makes him smile.

He was clearly faster and didn’t need to lay Max out but that is typical Deegan.

It's just racing. Deegan had the inside line and Anstie was high on the berm and started to turn down. Could have ridden the berm high through the corner and avoided it.

This is the smartest way to take a rider out and still fall within the rules!, Deegan knew VERY well what he was doing there, and he did not hesitate as this was clearly part of racing. On the other hand, taking out your own teammate at the very beginning of the season? Not sure.

Anste was blocking him and Deegan had to make the pass stick. Deegan was a half bike length ahead of Anste. That’s when Anste should have known riding around the high line on the corner would run him out of room.

Unfortunately, there seem to be a lot more rules in MMA than Supercross - they just let it all go. I would love to see degain penalized - especially, for what he tried to do to Shamoda - in SMX. Nope they look the other way.

To me it’s pretty clear to see deegan is the fastest on the 250s and it’s not even close
