I’ll never forget when Kinnick helped force 3 consecutive false starts, with the crowd getting progressively louder after each one

I lost my dad about a month or so before this game; always watched the hawks with him growing up. I watched this one while holding my infant son. Sports shouldn’t mean that much - but that crowd and the Hawks pulling out the win…It’s my all time favorite Hawk victory.

North end zone denizen here. Been in that end zone since 1983. That was the loudest and craziest I've ever seen Kinnick during a game. (Not gonna count Post Game celebrations.)

This was after you booed our players for “faking injuries” meanwhile the QB who is in is a backup who had never played in a game before. BECAUSE OUT STARTER WAS INJURED.
