I forgot to mention, but there were also catacombs nearby. The Vatican, which have underground hallways full of skulls all over the floor and wall walls, and it is advised by the Italian government that you should not venture too deep in those catacombs because there are some weirdos who choose to live down there and they do in fact, attack people, and sometimes even eat them, so that is more proof that vampires do exist in our world, they are just human humans who eat other humans and drink their blood.
