Cliff is still the king of aura in Death Stranding universe to me but Neil is really close, holy shit this is cool.

Just did this fight yesterday during my replay. I love his aura farming cutscenes so much. My personal fav is the one at the Cemetery

Yep, the exploration, combat sequences and bossfight all happen underwater

the way he just materializes out of the dark like that every single time is so unfair to everyone else in the game

This is a tar sequence in I'm guessing Neil's beach which is like the seam between the world of the dead and the living. In a way they are dreams or even memories, with the underwater representing a lot of stuff like the primordial soup or maybe the unconscious
