I’m an artist. I understand how light works. I know the dress is blue and black, I’ve ONLY ever seen it as blue and black… I cannot even comprehend how people see it as white and gold, I’ve NEVER been able to trick my brain into seeing it that way, I’ve never understood how people see white and gold, I thought for the longest time that people were making it up for attention or something. Idk if anyone else gets this. Seems like the majority of people are team White and Gold but I just genuinely don’t understand how. By: lucanbiswas17

PLAYERS SHOULDN'T DREAD HALF TIME OR TIMEOUTS. We teach children that timeouts are safe, and we encourage adults to take breaks. The DATA says this should be the same for athletes. You CAN steal points during TOs, but not if they sound like this: 'The other team just wants it more.' 'Get your ass back on D.' 'Do you guys actually believe this team is better than you guys?' Break huddle. COMPOSED- get the players off of the emotional rollercoaster through your body language. ACTIONABLE- 1-3 actions or solutions that need to be addressed with a CLEAR HOW. PREPARED- game cards with solutions for different outcomes and scouts are critical. SIMPLE- 8-9 seconds is the average attention span. We are adding physical and mental stress to that in game. VALUE with fewer words is important. POSITIVE- this is hard. We've all been there. But research shows that athletes at every level respond to positivity exponentially more than negativity. I've never met Jordan Bianchi, so I don't know what makes him tick. I can't speak to that. What I CAN say is this. I don't know the long-time reporter Jordan references in this clip, but I can ASSURE you covering the sport back twenty and thirty years ago was NEVER, EVER boring. If a reporter couldn't find anything to write about, they simply weren't trying hard enough. If a championship happened to be clinched early, then by gosh you wrote about the excellence the team exhibited that season. You wrote about the champion crew chief's love for hunting. You wrote about the tire changer's training as a classical violinist. You wrote about the pro baseball players who followed that particular team. You wrote about what other teams in the garage could do to catch up. The championship format is completely irrelevant to having something interesting to write week-in and week-out ... full-season, Chase or playoff. I'll let this clip from Joe Whitlock, the greatest NASCAR journalist to ever walk into a media center, have the final say. There are eight or ten stories at every car. ... You'll never run out of stories to do as long as you're covering (NASCAR) races.

From Angela Ganote "I’ve had a handful of you share videos with me asking if I know what happened at Grand Park in Westfield yesterday. We are reaching out to Westfield Police to try to find out if anyone was arrested or seriously injured during this fight that broke out during The Pylon 7v7 Tournament. Those that reached out are concerned that coaches of 14 and 15-year-olds are fist fighting over football. An eyewitness told me this started after a parent of a local Indiana team threw a punch at a team out of Chicago. Two other eyewitnesses say it was the other way around! And someone from the Chicago team punched the Indiana coach 1st. You may remember in Arizona last month a fight broke out at another 7V7 tournament where police say more than 100 people were involved. I’ll let you know when we get details from Westfield Police"

We know that some of the issues in Nairobi are structural and historical, but a good governor must have a disaster team ready to assist when it strikes. A good governor doesn't turn the county assembly speaker into his goon or youthwinger. A good governor can easily mobilise 500 young and energetic men and women to be trained on rescue from each of the 17 sub-counties. We can have a working team to help reduce the pain of a disaster. But a lazy governor hates MCAs who demand that he do better. Nairobi, don't elect someone because he can say TIBIM and TIALALA or he has dimples. Get someone who can make the city workable, livable and sustainable. You only need the city to have those 3 characterestics for you to have the convenience and comfort.

Just know where the extra calories are coming from and choose the lighter cooking method more often. Boil it. Steam it. Grill it. Air-fry it. i use one tool that gets me 5x better results from veo 3.1 and hailuo 2.3... if you're not effectively prompting camera motion, you're using these models at 50% capacity casual direction like "zoom in" or "circle around" doesn't work, video models need actual cinematography language: - [truck left, pan right, tracking shot] - [push in, pedestal up] - [dolly back, tilt down] so i built a claude skill that translates for you you describe what you want -> it converts to proper film terminology -> AI executes it way better this was initially made for my team, but i'm sharing it with you guys... reply "angles" + RT and i'll send it over (must be following so i can dm)

Just came across this and it so aptly explains why few are always upset with my regular work.. the actors do what they are told and sometimes improvise in their respective limits and expectations of the team.. there is so much more that happens before and after.. please don’t simply blame trash without reasoning.. I understand you have your respective issues personally, or in life in general.. but that doesn’t give you any right to be insensitive/insulting/demeaning/judgemental/shame anyone you randomly come across.. PS: I am very technologically challenged 🫣 so just screen recorded.. copy rights reserved with the owner of the post 🙏🏻
