looks wise, one of my favorite sci fis ever. this movie probably made me appreciate cinematography 1000x more as a kid.

It has some garbage tier Gunn writing. Remember when he wrote Mantis out of the third act because she would have stopped ego with ease? Guess how he does that? Letting some random debris hit her. BRAVO

Vol team peaks higher than 1 but in general is worst

Vol 2 is by far the most timeless of the movies. Best music as well

I thought it was great

It like never got hate before 2026. It was always viewed as a very grown up & solid story for the Guardians and more bold than anything else Marvel was doing. At least until Ryan Coogler did Black Panther that following year.

I much preferred Vol 2 than Vol 3 simply because it felt too depressing and lost it’s color and adopted smudging picture feeling kind of sickly.
