Because it didn't rake in a crap ton of money instantly like Spongebob and they had little patience or respect for their other Nicktoons around this time...

Because the series didn’t make enough ratings and money and didn’t become even more successful to warrant another season like SpongeBob,Jimmy Neutron,Avatar,Danny Phantom, and The Fairly OddParents. It’s better for them to remain memorable,along with El Tigre and Invader Zim.

Been asking that exact same question myself for two decades. And this show was supposably rumored to have a second season and a revival. 😅

Aside from a cat crushing on an underaged girl, the show was funny.

Apparently the creator was not the best guy around

No one knows, it was awesome.

I remember this episode as it sends out a good moral showing it is wrong to trick others to do your chores for you.
