He’s basing his pass off the defensive rotation triggers. Once he sees the corner man help down, he knows that the corner 3 is wide open. Easy to micro analyze in slow motion but at game speed, you’re making those decisions extremely quickly off the best info you have.

It’s apart of his DNA as a player. One of the reasons why he averages so many assist is because he understands the game to an entirety. It was the correct answer to pass it to Cam, depending on recovery, Wood would have had 2 on him as well. He made the right play

The play was drawn up to hit Cam in the corner. I agree though looking back C Wood would have been the better option. AD in Bam probably provides no help on this. On to the next game.

he made the right play. You wanted him to go up when Bam slid over to help and Cam was wide open. It’s game 7 of the season if you don’t build that confidence in your guys it’ll be a long year. Nobody cares about y’all fan fic clutch narratives.
