REPORT: Nearly 800,000 New Yorkers say they will leave New York City if Zohran Mamdani wins the mayoral race, according to a new survey. "9% of New Yorkers would 'definitely' leave the city, which currently has a population of 8.5M," the Daily Mail reported. According to the survey conducted by JL Partners, another 25% of people would "consider" leaving the city if he were elected. Mamdani has voiced that he isn't concerned about a mass exodus from the city and has a plan to tax businesses even if they leave. "What I've proposed is that we raise $10 billion to pay for our entire economic agenda ... we will do so in two key ways," Mamdani previously said on the Breakfast Club. "The first is to match the state's top corporate tax rate to that of New Jersey. We are at 7.25%. They're at 11.5%."
