Following the inspection visit to the Opebi–Mende Bridge yesterday, a team from LAWMA has commenced full clearance operations at Cane Village, Mende after Lagos Environmental Sanitation Corps dislodged the miscreants and illegal traders under the bridge. All illegal shanties, makeshift structures, and waste deposits are being cleared to restore order and environmental sanity in the area. This exercise is part of our sustained efforts to secure public infrastructure and prevent the return of squatters who had converted the underbelly of the bridge into homes and shops. #CleanerLagos #GreaterLagos
