Illustration Process

I was aiming for a more flat colour/gradient approach on the piece, fitting in the colours together was a challenge in hindsight I would start with flat colours and lighting before cementing the lineart, making adjustments would have been much easier

converting from sketch to lineart - it seemed that a lot of the line personality have faded because of the simplified line economy, maybe I could have some leeway with messier lines especially around the face area to make it heavier detailed
