Marc Andreessen: "There's 2 reasons they're incurious about it... Elon Musk also generates emotion in people." For a hundred years, management books taught us the exact same system for running a company: put someone at the top to oversee the machine, wait for reports, and enforce the rules. "And then there's Elon who just doesn't do any of that and has a completely different playbook." The Elon Playbook in a nutshell: 1- It’s only engineers. "People who matter in your company are the engineers, the people who understand the technical content of what you're doing." 2- Ruthlessly violate the chain of command. "You never ever talk to mid-level management. If they need it for whatever vacation policy, it's fine. But if you are the CEO to get the truth, you only talk to the line engineer." 3- Parachute into the bottleneck. "Your job as the CEO is every week to fix whatever is the most important bottleneck to the company's progress. You parachute in, find the engineers that are working on that problem, and you basically stay up with them all night until they fix the problem." 4- Engineering reviews, NOT product reviews. "You get all the engineers together and you have them each present what they're doing for 5 minutes. The result of that is you know every single engineer in the company, you know exactly what they're working on." 5- Act instantly on talent. "If somebody's not good you fire them on the spot. If somebody's great you go all out to get them." Traditional CEOs rely on reports and middle management. Elon ignores the rules to get straight to the truth.

Woman lies about having a son when police come out for a welfare check. She has been hiding a dark secret for months. When Rock Island police arrived at Sushi Staples’ door for a welfare check, she had an answer for everything. Investigators received a disturbing tip alleging a child had suffered a mishap inside the home months earlier. Facing officers on her front porch, Staples remained completely composed, claiming she was the victim of a targeted harassment campaign by an ex-partner’s associate and this accusation harassment was all a lie. She insisted she was only raising four daughters and outright denied ever having a son. Officers asked to check the basement as they were tipped off the the son would be located there. She refused and demanded they get a warrant. When officers returned the following day with a search warrant, detectives went straight to the basement and nothing was there. While the search continued detectives sat her down to get straight answers. She doubled down on her story, until search teams located official identity documents inside her bedroom with the child’s name that she insisted did not exist. Backed into a corner, she suddenly shifted her narrative on camera, claiming the paperwork was fabricated simply to collect extra government benefits. With this admission, officers took her into custody for fraud, but the search of the property was not over. The search eventually made its way to the garage, this is where here dark secret came to light. Investigators uncovered the truth in that garage. Her 10-year-old son that are claimed was not real even though she had a birth certificate for him was found, Zion, had handled an unsecured firearm at the home and had an accident with it. Instead of calling emergency services, the scene had been hidden away by the woman for over seven months while everyday life continued inside the house pretending like it never happened. Staples was arrested and charged. She accepted a plea deal, pleading guilty to endangering the life or health of a child. She was sentenced to two years in prison (with credit for time served) and six months of probation. This blows my mind that this is all she got for her actions.

For those of you that don’t know, I love chicken wings. They’re one of my favorite foods, and I usually have them about once a week. For a long time, though, I never liked the way I felt after eating wings out at restaurants. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it until I realized that almost everywhere you get wings from, they’re cooked in some form of seed oil, usually soybean oil. That stuff is terrible for inflammation and can cause a lot of issues over time. On top of that, most ranches, blue cheeses, and dipping sauces are also loaded with seed oils. So I made the switch to doing this at home as much as possible, and honestly, I prefer it. I feel way better after eating them. No sluggish feeling. No feeling like I just ate something bad for my body. I use organic chicken wings from Sprouts, usually just over three pounds, around 3.2 pounds. I keep them thawed out, preheat my air fryer for 10 minutes at 400 degrees, then cook the wings for about 50 to 55 minutes, depending on the batch. I toss them halfway through and make sure they cook as evenly as possible. Once they’re done, I coat them with Primal Kitchen avocado oil buffalo sauce, add pink Himalayan sea salt and garlic powder, and toss everything together. I’ll dip them in Primal Kitchen avocado oil ranch and pair it with a big salad. Today I had chia seeds and guacamole with it while breaking a 26 hour fast, before going right back into another 24 hour fast. I also use a ceramic free air fryer because of the issues with coatings, and it’s been a great switch for me. If you eat wings out a lot, just be aware. Almost all fast food places and most sit down restaurants are cooking with seed oils. When you start eating more home cooked meals, you really do notice the difference over time. It's feeding time!

I’m takin’ a classic breakfast up a notch! Biscuits and Gravy...but we’re doing it the SPG Tri-O way!🔥 Ingredients 1 tbsp Dan-O’s SPG Tri-O (Salt, Pepper, Garlic) Seasoning 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Cajun Seasoning, 1 lb breakfast sausage 2 tbsp all-purpose flour 2 cups whole milk, divided 1 can refrigerated flaky layer biscuits Directions 1h. Bake the Biscuits Prepare and bake the canned biscuits according to the package directions. While the biscuits bake, make the sausage gravy. 2. Brown the Sausage Add the breakfast sausage to a hot pan. Chop the sausage as it cooks to create small pieces instead of large chunks. Cook for a couple of minutes. 3. Simmer the Sausage Turn the heat down to medium-low. Let the sausage simmer for a couple of minutes to draw the grease out. 4. Add the Flour Sprinkle the all-purpose flour over the sausage. Stir until the flour soaks up the grease and coats the sausage. Cook until the mixture looks drier and the flour has absorbed the grease. 5. Add the Milk Pour in the 1 cup whole milk and turn the heat up to medium-high. Stir until the mixture comes back to a simmer and starts to thicken. Add the remaining milk. Stir until it comes back to a simmer and thickens again. 6. Season the Gravy Sprinkle Generously with Dan-O’s SPG Tri-O. Turn the heat down to low. Let the gravy come together, then hold on a simmer until the biscuits are ready. 7. Build the Plate Split the biscuits open. Lay them on a plate. Spoon the sausage gravy over the top. 8. Add the Flavor Finishing and Serve Top with Dan-O’s Cajun Seasoning for extra flavor. Serve hot. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!
