His wee pal โ oh cain itโs okay mateโ ๐ญโค๏ธ children are so innocent & pure ๐ฅน x

Cut me up ๐ญ๐ฅน

This kid โฆ gosh โฆ I felt his words ๐ฅบ I saw this on insta yesterday and this little boy replied on the post! Kain is 17 now and is thriving. He seems like such a lovely young man. Huge love to his grandparents for being there โฅ๏ธ

Omg bless his little heart โค๏ธ

His friend being the first to step up and speak when he couldn't continue is what got my tears flowing. The family situation, that's reality for a lot of families unfortunately. But this boy having good friends and caring classmates? That's priceless.

๐ญ ... And the sad thing is, that's the normality for thousands of kids ๐ฅ

Utterly heart breaking. His little friends giving him love and support though!! My heart ๐ญโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

It's lush to see! .... Whatever subject or topic it was that allowed Kain to vent his experience and teach empathy, it needs to be standard in schools ๐

Absolutely โค๏ธ

This dear boy ๐ญ

My mother gave me to my granny & auntie. I was having a very good life with them until at the age of 4, my mother took me from them & put me in foster care. She then fkd off with her new squeeze. It took my granny & auntie over a year to find me & they took me home. Sheโs evil

Omg Lynz ๐ฅบ๐

Is what it is. The foster parents used to beat me as bad as my mother did. My aunt knocked on their door & removed me after she found me. The next time she seen my mother, she seen she was wearing my jewellery she bought me & she punched her so hard, my mother fell off the chair

Foster carer here, itโs a cruel world. Fair play to th lad telling his story most are ashamed and try to hide it. Big respect for the grand parents โค๏ธ

He starts telling his story in a matter of fact way. Then it suddenly dawns on him (and us) heโs talking about his own situation and the pain that heโs feeling way down. We see the man heโll become and the little boy he is, heartbreaking but what wonderful classmates. โค๏ธ

๐ข Bless that lad for being so brave โค๏ธ

OMG. Poor child, but grandma and grandpa show him all the love in the world. And his classmates supporting him. What a special moment

That little boy talking so openly about his lifeโฆ Iโm actually crying, his courage is unreal. His grandparents and those classmates are giving him the kind of love some adults never get.

pass the tissues please ๐ญ

I donโt know when schools starting doing this but itโs about time. Let the kids deal with their trauma earlier in childhood so it doesnโt affect them in their adulthood. Good job to the schools.

This got me ! So many similarities to my upbringing, love my nan and grandad , the most wonderful people I could have wished for. Good on you lad im glad you had yours too

The kids in the classroom, their response to this is everything, and Iโm so glad an adult was in the room to give him a hug. I was raised by my grandparents and I consider myself to be incredibly lucky they did. Wishing you & your siblings a bright future Cain โค๏ธ๐๐ผ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ

Bless him. He sounds very well rounded in spite of the sadness he's clearly had to suffer.

You know, the kids are alright. ๐ซถ๐ซถ๐ซถ๐ซถ๐ซถ๐ซถ๐ซถ๐ซถ๐ซถ๐ซถ๐ซถ๐ซถ๐ซถ Itโs the parents that we need to scrutinize.

The children telling him itโs okay and giving him hugs. ๐ฅนโค๏ธ Thatโs what true friendship is about. What a brave and courageous boy. Iโm sure his grandparents give him all the love he deserves. โค๏ธ

Pure example of when adults care more about themselves than their own kids. What a wonderful boy his grandfather and grandmother should be very proud

The children show us what true empathy looks like. It will stay with me today (and tomorrow) โค๏ธ

When I was a young kid in the 80s, we didn't know what was happening to us was causing us psychological problems, you just thought it was, what it was. Your mum split from your dad and had a nightmare relationship... You didn't realise the impact on your life/behaviour.

Iโm not crying, youโre crying

There's wet stuff running down my face. All children deserve to grow up in a home filled with love and not chaos.

Utterly heartwrenching to hear about Cain's story. Unfortunately, there are so many kids with similar stories but with no grandparents to step in. So many children with a bright future rotting away in the care system. ๐

You will forgive yourself for bad decisions in love but you will never forgive yourself if the life you gave birth to grows up knowing it was unwanted, unloved and a burden to you. Thank God for the family that steps in โค๏ธ

Damn, those onions are strong ๐ฅน

The people who were there for this lad did a helluva job in bringing him up and his friends are the real deal. Kids can sometimes be very cruel, but there's nothing but support for their friend here. It's a lovely film.

Love how his friends showed him their love ๐ฅฐ

Our grandsons live with us, this is their story too ๐

Taking kids from their parents has become the default, and itโs not working. Protect children, yes. Ignore bad parenting, no. But breaking families instead of fixing them is failing everyone. We need interventions that builds parents, not just removes kids.

@marionmain3 What a brave boy, in sharing this, with the class. But it also shows how supportive kids can be to each other, especially when it isn't the boys fault.

This clssdroom of kids was soooo awesome. They didnt judge him instead they made sure He was heard. ๐ฅฐ

Sadly this sort of thing has been going on for forever but the good thing is, these days children are allowed and encouraged to express their emotions and talk about their problems. When I was growing up, you were encouraged to keep quiet and be ashamed of it.

Bless him. May he always be loved ๐ข

Children need to be protected. This is heartbreaking.
