Nice, but you should use the spline paint function ! It's very easy, and totaly procedural. So you can adjust anyway you want after the painting. No stress after that ! XD

Another great option is using the Pen tool! Its what i use for making lines and curves. It works fantastically for seams. I like it a LOT more than drawing directly on.

This is substance painter! It's legacy software, the new one is called adobe painter I really need to upgrade lol New one has extra useful features
