Other than this being insane, it also showed me how much of the lighting in this game is dynamic. I thought most of it was baked.

source2 is a very good engine that can do both baked and dynamic really well, in cs2 most is baked for performance but dynamic models use dynamic lighting

is map scripting as good as csgo now? is it better? im not familiar with this kind of stuff and i remember seeing disappointment when it was first reintroduced to CS2 cars is CS2 sick 😛

its way better now, the dev responsible for cs2 scripting has been active in mapping communities and listening to feedback a lot

That is so awesome. I remember that one roguelike in CSGO from 2023 and thinking it was so crazy it was possible. Seeing CS2 lose all that was disappointing. Things like the coop adventure maps, the KFC map, and the YPRAC maps were some of my favorite things about CSGO.

#5 You can't steal any cars and you can only enter from the left side of the car There's only one animation to enter the car and that's from the left side, during some in-game missions you aren't even allowed to get out of the car and explore the open world like this one here, I tried getting out of the car to walk on foot but the game didn't allow me to. This is because the Open World of MindsEye is extremely restricted, the Game doesn't want you do explore so it either forces you to move from point A to point B with a timer and most of the times it asks you to enter a car and you can't get out of it once you're inside the vehicle.

We just launched a generative craft system inside Marble App. Kids can now create anything and turn it into a 3D object on their map. It's designed to be realistic, so kids have to use their brain to make things happen. It works like this: 1) You describe or sketch what you want to build 2) Marble creates a blueprint you can iterate on 3) You pick the resources and tools you think you need to make it (if you have them) 4) Marble crafts the object. If the build is successful and you can drop it on your map! Since you can create your own tools, there is no limit to what you can build with this system. So excited to see what kids make with it!
