AI needs to be checked and checked hard Tim. Having a Federal Bill that bans States from making ANY AI regulations for the next 10 years? That's insanity. AI's capability/dangers grows exponentially by the MONTH now..not years.

There is no way I’m down with taking states rights away for 10 years. We saw how that worked with big Pharma.

Please Congressman Burchett, support federal legislation to provide the necessary guardrails and minimize complications like inconsistency between the states. But if the federal gov won’t act, don’t take away the states’ abilities to protect their people.

I’m all for less government regulation, but AI is being trained by millions of users…without some safeguards in place it has the potential to take on a nasty life of its own. A balance is going to need to be struck between advancing it and making sure it can be shut down if necessary.
