I’m always going to be honest about the challenges facing us. The NHS is broken - but it’s not beaten. I'm working together with the outstanding people in the health service to turn it around.

working with the same people in leadership roles is unlikely to offer much beyond the same results Pretty much the principle of any change management Either that or the leadership is fab -& all the NHS needed was political change Nothing else

The NHS is not broken. The NHS has been broken. It has been broken by years of underfunding and neglecting NHS pay as an excuse to pursue privatisation. The NHS needs: 👉 Pay restoration 👉 Adequate funding (40bn pa) 👉 An end to privatisation

Wes your statement about NHS being broken is correct but you need to recognise in Wales it is broken due to 25 years of @WelshLabour Government - look to Wales for how not to run a Health Service, the expected new First Minister has first hand skills.

Stopping these 2 things👇🏻👇🏻would be a great start

Clean air & ffp3 respirators will reduce patients with immediate impact. Would you chat about it?

All you've shown so far is faux outrage!

Well the Tories 14 years ago, did inherit a @UKLabour shitshow, with an NHS crippled with near on £100bn in PFI Debt (news flash, the NHS will be using a large proportion of their budget, paying that debt for at least another 50yrs). So there would be plenty of funding for the NHS if they weren’t saddled with a Labour created debt mountain, care to tell us how you will rectify that.

Wes, do what you have to do and change the NHS into European style universal healthcare system. Its current format is unsustainable and we’re paying for politicians cowardly inaction with our health.

What about Wales Wes? The NHS has been under Labour control for 25 years.
