“what are your dreams for the future?” 🆑: my ambition is to try and have the simplest life, keeping all those passions alive, and this is really where i’m spending my time now. i don't really need anything more because i’m happy the way i am, and my only ambition now is to obviously be a world champion. this is all i’ve ever dreamed about and this is all i’ve ever worked for and what i will continue to do so. but just having a relatively simple life and of course, simple is relative and it's more simpler than what it is now because obviously my life is quite hectic and i travel from everywhere. i go everywhere in the world every week for racing, for different kind of events. but trying to keep a simpler life and at the end of the day, i think what really matters in life is mostly people that you love most and to just keep that in mind, even though life is obviously quite hectic. 🎥: eight sleep

I’m writing this while I’m still in it. Still stressed. Still exhausted. Still after crying. And I’m still working through the night. I need people to understand what this really looks like. The posts you see do not come from some calm, quiet, comfortable life. They are written in the middle of pressure, fatigue, sickness, grief, and responsibility. I take a photo, I write my story, and I post it. Then I keep working. Because I have to. Because my guys need me. Because I cannot give up. Because if I stop, the consequences are real. Every single day, I make the choice to stay here. And yes, sometimes that choice hurts. I am human. I know I could go home. I know there is a beautiful life waiting for me somewhere else. I know what I am missing. I know what rest could look like. I know what peace could feel like. But I stay. I stay because my boys cannot simply go home. I stay because they do not have the freedoms I have as a foreigner under contract. I stay because love is not a feeling here. Love is duty. Love is sacrifice. Love is showing up again and again, even when you are breaking. Right now, I am doing the work of five or six people in this brigade. Not because I have endless strength. Not because I never fall apart. Not because I am some kind of machine. I do it because I care that much. I do it because I am passionate, because I believe in #Ukraine I am a soldier. Not a volunteer. This is not something I step in and out of when it is convenient or I have the energy. This is my duty. 24/7. I save my vacation because when I finally leave for a little while, I do not want a getaway. I do not want a trip. I do not want sightseeing. I do not want Kyiv. I do not want the Carpathians. I want to go home to #Canada. And until the day I can do that, I work. Every post. Every video. Every message. Every fundraiser. I am on duty. Every four to six weeks, I scrape together a few hours to take care of myself and try to remember what normal feels like. But the truth is that I am tired. And some of what I do might look small from the outside. It might look ordinary. It might even look stupid. It is not. Because if I do not do these things, people will die. And yes, they may die anyway. This is war. There are no guarantees here. There are no perfect endings. There is only the fight to give them a better chance, one more chance, any chance at all. YOU give them that fighting chance. And that is why I am asking you, from the deepest and most exhausted part of me, to help. I cannot do this alone. I am one person doing the work of five or six people. But with you, I am not alone. With you, thousands of hands help carry this weight. With you, this burden becomes survivable. 🐺: As Nu said, I also read the feedback about me. I feel a bit shy talking about it. So, regarding my hairstyle, I’ve actually been thinking about it for a while and discussing with my stylist whether I should change it or try something new. Because depending on the work… what do you call it? Confidence in yourself. Sometimes, if the style is too much, I may feel less confident, or if it’s too much, it’s not suitable for the event. But now I’m trying to be more diverse and trying to change more. I’m trying more with some events because some styles are really about my confidence. Because sometimes, when I have long hair, I really want to get a haircut. I feel like I have to guess my hair. And I feel confident about my hair like this. For anyone who really knows me, they’ll understand that I take my hair seriously. I touch it so much that my stylist even complains, and Nu complains too. Because I’m confident in that style. But sometimes I don’t stick to that style all the time. I understand the feedback people give me, and I’m open to it 😽: Nu isn’t complaining when Hia touched it 🐺: Actually, I do want to do a style that shows my forehead. #donghae #동해 🐶: Honestly, I feel like crying. These days, I really want to cry. Because you keep telling me how much you’re expecting from me, and honestly, that makes me feel a lot of pressure. I feel really burdened right now, and my heart doesn’t feel like my own these days. I keep doing Super Shows, then I’m in Korea for maybe 2–3 days, and then I’m just stuck in the studio again. The pressure and stress are really intense, so I’m not sleeping well and I’ve been living in a daze. I don’t get angry. (Please don’t get angry at Leeteuk-oppa.) I don’t get angry. My mindset is this: If getting angry could solve something, then I would do that. But for problems that can’t be solved that way, I don’t think getting upset helps much. I think those comments come from concern and support, wanting me to do well, so they actually give me strength. But when all the things I have to do come rushing at once, it does get overwhelming. Still, I think these are responsibilities I have to overcome, so I’ll do my best and give it my all. I think the reason I feel this pressure, stress, and worry is because I want to grow. Because of that, I think more deeply and can give you better things. Right now, it’s stressful and pressuring, but when everything turns out well and you’re happy with what I give you, I’ll be grateful even for these feelings.

A while back, I told my friend how much I wished someone would decorate my room with flowers and balloons just once, to feel that kind of love. She smiled and said, ‘Don’t worry, you’ll get them soon.’ I didn’t realize she meant from her. 🥹 I came back from my birthday dinner to find my room transformed not just with decorations, but with love. The kind that listens. The kind that remembers. She printed out a picture of me from every year that I have been on this earth 😭❤️ Sometimes, your girls are the real love story. 💐🎈❤️ She’s an amazing decorator too. @barasha_events follow her ❤️ The beautiful room is @proteaskyzkampala 😍
