Shawn Ryan and Cenk Uygur are calling for a third party. And they’re demanding one key reform: Get money out of politics. “If you don’t end the bribery, we’re permanently screwed.” They’re calling for a “hostile takeover—without violence.” “We want our own sovereignty.” “We want our own freedom.” “We don’t want to be Israel’s slaves.” For decades, small third parties have tried to take on the Democrats and Republicans, but they’ve failed for two main reasons: First, they try to change everything from the top down with a presidential campaign, instead of building a grassroots movement. Second, they’re radically ideological, like libertarian or socialist—not unifying. But there’s finally a new party that I think can build the movement we need. The We The People Party was launched in 2024. And they’re building a movement from the ground up. They’re structuring the party to make it corruption-proof by putting as much power in the hands of grassroots members as possible, instead of letting a small handful of party leaders control everything. They’re focused on winning local and state elections first to make it grassroots, instead of just running vanity presidential campaigns. And they’re focused on core, unifying issues. Anti-war. Anti-corruption. Get money out of politics. This is the movement Independents need to get behind. The Republican and Democrat Parties are hopelessly corrupt. We need to build a party united in one simple goal: Rooting out corruption and restoring our sovereignty. Join us: We The People Party Cenk Uygur Shawn Ryan
