Drone flyers should not need to hide in a bush. We need to get as close as we can to our subject to comply with the drone code and education needs to pass to normalise drone photography which my channel aims to help with 👍

You should have taken that security guards SIA Licence number and sent the footage as well as his SIA Licence number to the SIA because that's no way to act as a licenced security guard. He'd have assaulted you if you didn't have the camera recording. He was dying to, you can see it in his eyes. He has an instability about him that isn't conducive to the roll he is carrying out. I'd still send the footage to the SIA if I was you. I worked in the security industry for over 20 years and I wouldn't put that man on duty to guard an isolated field never mind fulfilling the role of a mobile security officer. For me personally, I feel the SIA need to be made aware of his behaviour. Security guards are supposed to be role models, be calm, be assertive and act as physical detergents to crime. They are not supposed to act like a knuckle dragging bully.

No. It was the end of a very long 2 day filming session and experience told me it was a perfect time to test the alternative to self defence for the video. Self defence is great and would have been justified on this occasion but there is always the possibility of escalating and you having to be interviewed and devices (evidence) seized etc which I really didn’t need on this occasion. I am glad I didn’t shove this time and I hope my explanation helps you understand 👍
