And here I’ve been watching all these cute puppers boinging the door stopper. There was not a single moment seeing it boing in all directions did I ever think it probably fits under the door.

It's just a door stop. It's a spring to absorb impact. You're not supposed to bend it and hold the door. Your door is hung incorrectly if it keeps closing.

I think I'd just level the door. A screwdriver and a few pieces of paper usually will do it. Of course, you could also put a hinge pin and give it a small bend. Eh, to each their own.

Not what it is there for a many doors don’t have the clearance to put the stop under it. Door is not balanced that is why it swings closed. Fix that instead.

Or just get a magnetic one...
