Awesome man, thanks for sharing

the examples are the real product here, an agent's edit is only ever as good as what it has to copy from

Do you know @landforce ?

Hey I am building an agentic editor as well. Can we please have a chat sometime?

You’re the best! Thank you!

Would the overlays work as Remotion-style components, so an agent sets text and timing through props?

These are awesome! Thank you! Love your videos too!

the goat

Thanks for sharing! Will definitely try it out and share my experience/feedback.

The interesting part isn’t the free overlay library—it’s that you’re turning editing taste into machine-readable primitives. Once style decisions become reusable assets + rules, the agent stops “generating video” and starts editing inside a real creative system. That’s a much more defensible workflow.

looks sharp!

Good stuff, thanks.

If agents can't parse these assets autonomously, the automated editing pipeline fails; what metadata structure is in place to let them retrieve and place these overlays?

Curious how the agent picks an overlay. Does it get metadata like duration, mood, and placement for each one, or does it just read the file names? That seems like the hard part of automating the edit.

structured overlays for AI video editors are a massive cheat code. bookmarking this right now fr.

Abile to give all the hardwork to Ai agents. That's very attractive to have.

Amazing thank you!

GOLD MINE!!!

This is a great resource to build in the open—sharing reusable overlays and motion graphics makes agentic video editing more practical for everyone. Looking forward to seeing it grow!

automating your video editing sounds like a major time-saver for your channel

the overlays are the easy half. the hard half is knowing when to cut, so i'd log 50 of my own edits as decision rules first and let the agent learn the cuts, not just the assets.

@bot send this to my grok bot and tell me if/how we can implement this and whether we should and when

love seeing us converge on similar wavelengths. To me, it's simple - I've realized you can create a custom version of anything you use with ai, and have your agents drive it with you. Once you get the message, you can't unsee it!

Could you add a lower-third example with a long name and subtitles? I'd rather the agent resize the label than get creative with someone's surname 😂

will each graphic include timing and editable parameters so an agent can adapt it without guessing from a preview?

this is very cool. thank you

Worth asking whether these overlays need any agent setup to use, or if you can just drop them into standard editing software without touching code. Also unclear if usage rights are included or separate.

Editing is the real bottleneck for a second channel, scripts are easy by comparison. Curious how the agents handle pacing on cuts.

This is huge for us. We have agents cutting Instagram Reels straight through FFmpeg right now and the overlays are the part they fake worst. Would love scroll-capture presets for websites and lower thirds that stay clean on 9:16. Bookmarked

resource libraries for agents are underrated. what fraction of the editing decisions actually get automated vs still needing human oversight?

Riley there is problem each channel/brand must be a brand guidelines and assets an agent can use those skills to create and follow. You need a creative strategist who can help you build that then you can give that to agent it can hanle the rest. DM i can help
