As much as I can totally imagine it, the days of a stand alone Jaws ride are over, UNLESS they decide to build this here in England (indoors) to go alongside BTTF coaster

Futurascope is going to pop off in the next 3-5 years. It’s already Elite but with a few more of these high immersion thrill attractions it’s going to draw global attention 🦾🔥🤌

I'm not rambling. We can't get the boat to float. The battery is so heavy. So then I start talking about asking questions. You know, I have an, I had an uncle who was a great professor at MIT for many years, long, I think the longest tenure ever. Very smart, had three different degrees and you know, so I have an aptitude for things. You know, there is such a thing as an aptitude. I said, well, what would happen if this boat is so heavy and started to sink and you're on the top of the boat. Do you get electrocuted or not? In other words, the boat is going down and you're on the top, will the electric currents flow through the water and wipe you out? And let's say there's a shark about 10 yards over there. Would I have to immediately abandon or could I ride the electric down and he said, sir, nobody's ever asked us that question. But sir, I don't know. I said, well, I want to know because I guarantee you one thing, I don't care what happens. I'm staying with the electric, I'm not getting over with it. So I tell that story. One Sunday afternoon, I was sitting at home. Phil was at the airport. He texted me “Hey… I have this idea for a bridge! Tell me what you think!” He sent a mumbly voice memo, with airport announcements in the background… but I still got chills as I listened. I knew it was special and could hear exactly where it was heading. I was so excited, I threw the mumbly voice memo onto my computer and started building a huge track around it… this is exactly what the song needed. A few months later, we were filming this song with a huge orchestra and choir… and it was SO POWERFUL and energetic in that room! So thankful for this collaboration!

I'm going to leave it at this. The worst tactical ride I've ever seen and gets even worst after they turn into the straight but most of the damage already done in that clip but still could have saved it if hanging on for as long as possible. This is horrific.

The reason for telling a story is often as important, if not more so, than the story itself. You could just say, 'One time, I was almost the spokesman for Subway. Here's what happened.' But on stage, I started by saying, 'I'm so grateful to be performing here. I thought the highlight of my career was when I booked the campaign to be the spokesman for Subway.' Right there, you give yourself a reason to tell the story. You have a story, but you need to figure out your way in. Figure out a reason for saying it. Don't get lazy about those moments; figure out why." The way into a story is by tying it to stakes; the stakes are what make the person across from you lean in and ask, "What happened?"

They could name the world and teach me how to face it. I don't have that certainty for my kids. Every parent wants the same thing. Give your child a better life than you had. Work harder. Open more doors. Love them past every limit you ever hit yourself. My parents did that for me. I am who I am because of what they gave up. But I'm standing at the edge of something none of us were prepared for. A new world is being built. I’m scared that the people building it aren't asking whether our children will have a place in it. Will it be a world of human flourishing — where all of this technology lifts people up? Or a world where the ones who build the future forget to include the rest of us in it?
