Perish in the right hands (and no, not just Wolfe’s) can be very effective, it’s just that it requires very precise positioning and knowledge on how the game works. Just clicking Perish Song in front of anything will get you nowhere

As someone who plays perish trap a lot, with at best mixed results, you are correct there is no plan b. Mayyybe if the opponent is pretty defensive you can timer stall to a draw.

Lmao a streamer I was helping did this today when we led into Gengar Incin with Delphox Kingambit. Kowtow and Psychic to cover for Fake Out and when the Gengar died they left

I beat one in my last match I was suprised they didn’t rage quit after I killed toxapex, put gengar to 10% hp, sylveon on 1% and incineroar the only at full hp before I lost 2 pokemon
