No language barrier is gonna stop players from enjoying their game. I've seen English speaking players play non-translated Japanese game that they like. I've also seen Japanese speaking players play games that they like, that are not translated into Japanese.

Like the idea a lot, but the interface looks a bit overwhelming, sadly we humans get our first and most important impression based on what we see, and many won't even give it a chance, and even if they try it they might already have those emotions sabotaging their enjoyment.
